Tokyo.

Drouyn and I visited Tokyo in the June/July holidays. We were only there for 9 short days and in that time, I fell in love with the place. I would really like to go back soon and see other parts of Japan. Here are a few photos from our trip.

sewing machine.

I went sewing machine shopping today at Spotlight. I found this one on sale. Apparently it is good for beginners.

I am going back to buy it tomorrow, along with some patterns and fabric. I haven't used a sewing machine in years, so this shall be interesting.

Flamingo Cafe.

This is one of my favourite cafes in Brisbane. The food is cheap and delicious. You should try eating there sometime.

Baking

I really enjoy making cakes. I'm not that good at it, but I plan on getting better. One day I want to make cakes for a living. I told one of the students at my school that I wanted to become a cake-maker/decorator, he laughed at me. This is the cake I baked for Drouyn's birthday.

I've been slack.

I created a blog, made a few posts, got slack, revisited my blog today, deleted some stuff, now I want to get back into writing about things on here. I've made myself some new life goals. This is my list, in no particular order.

1. Get a dog
2. Buy a sewing machine and learn how to sew
3. Learn how to skate (skateboarding, not roller skating)
4. Start my own cake making business (this one is long-term)

I plan to keep adding things to my list, it's the start of something special.
